Ryan Brandt, DDS, MS

Providing the highest level of dental care in the most compassionate form possible is my goal.  I am very passionate about my specialty and take great pride and satisfaction in my work.  I cannot think of any other profession that would bring me as much satisfaction, and I am grateful for the confidence that dentists place in me to care for their patients.

Education and Experience

I completed my undergraduate dental studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  I worked as a general dentist for two years in the Ann Arbor area, which helped to confirm my interest and passion for providing the highest level of endodontic therapy to my patients.  I continued my graduate dental training by returning to the University of Michigan where I received additional training that afforded me specialty certification, as well as a Masters Degree.

I remain interested in sharing the knowledge I have gained to the dental community.  I presented research that I conducted while at UofM to the American Academy of Dental Research in Washington D.C. in 2010.  I also authored a research article that was selected as the cover story for the Journal of the American Dental Association in May of 2011.  Locally I have lectured to groups of dentists in Jackson, as well as being a guest lecturer for the dental assisting program at Washtenaw Community College.

I continue my own education through courses every year to ensure I am on the cutting edge of my specialty.  I maintain membership with the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics where I receive monthly journals to keep with Endodontics and general dentistry.

Outside the Office

I was born in a small, Northern Michigan town named Lake City and still visit my parents when I am able.  At home I have my hands full with my daughter Sydney and son Kellan.  I am quite a sports fanatic, so if you would like your appointment to last an extra hour, get me going on the topic of Wolverine Football or the Detroit Lions.

Dr. Xianli Tang, DDS, MS

Dr. Xianli Tang received her dental education from University of Toronto and graduated with honors in 2008. She practiced general dentistry in Massachusetts for three years before she attended the University of Michigan to become a root canal specialist. She received a certificate and Master of Science degree in Endodontics, as well as John F. Corcoran award upon graduation. She currently lives in Ann Arbor with her husband and two children.

Raysha

Raysha has been Dr. Brandt’s assistant since the office opened in December 2010 and has helped develop many of the innovative assisting techniques that are now commonplace.  Raysha completed her Dental Assisting program through the LISD Tech Center in Adrian.  Raysha's compassion and ability to make others feel at ease distinguishes her in her field, resulting in patients having a more enjoyable experience.
